It’s an adventure of noble warriors at the time of tyranny and slavery. A love story during brutal war times.

The story begins in ancient Egypt during the last days of Ancient Egypt, before their fall on the hands of the Persian invaders and the betrayal of some of the Pharaoh's military leaders.

The story then shifts to the 7th century BC during the Byzantine rule of Egypt.

You will meet Mary, a very beautiful Egyptian woman. Her mother is afraid that she might be chosen as the sacrifice for the Nile’s river festival, so she orders her to only come out at night where no one can see her beautiful face. One time she got out with her friends to play by the bank of Nile river, and one Byzantine noble man called Daniel saw her face from his family's nearby palace and he immediately fell in love with her. ♥

He tries to talk to her and they eventually fall in love.

When Daniel’s mother knows that her son fell in love and wants to marry Mary she got angry because the Egyptian are seen inferior by the Byzantine people. She started to think of a way to get rid of that Egyptian girl.

What will happen to Daniel and Mary?

How will the fight between the new Arab and Byzantine army affect their destiny?

The story is deep, with plot twists and based on historical true events, with different themes. A beautiful War & Romance thriller. You will go through historical battles between pharaohs, Persians, Arabs, Muslims and Byzantines. You will enjoy with our characters like a Byzantine noble fighting to save the girl he loves, an Egyptian girl escaping from an oppressive military rule, a noble warrior that goes above the standard of his time…. You will learn more Arab and Byzantine conflict through this historical fiction novel.
